PRP Facial Treatment

This increasingly popular treatment is used for overall skin rejuvenation to improve texture, pigment, imperfections, laxity, and fine lines/wrinkles by naturally stimulating collagen and tissue regeneration.

Get The Facts

PRP facial treatments are paired with microneedling or Beauty Booster to deliver the natural growth factors into the skin. PRP can also be injected into the tear troughs, nasolabial folds, neck, decolletage, and even acne scarring for targeted results. A series of 3 treatments are usually recommended for optimal results.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Will PRP add volume to my face?

No. After receiving tear trough, nasolabial fold, or scar injections there will be temporary volume to the area from the freshly injected PRP, but the body quickly reabsorbs it. PRP works its magic by helping the skin produce more collagen/elastin, supporting and thickening the dermis over time.

+ Are there any side effects of PRP facial treatment?

Because PRP is an autologous treatment (using the patient’s blood) the risk of experiencing an adverse reaction is extremely low. It is normal to feel tight and dry for a few days post-procedure, and sometimes tiny bruises may occur during treatment.

+ Can I get PRP with other treatments?

Absolutely! PRP is a superior adjunct to any cosmetic treatment whether it’s Neuromodulators, Filler, Ultherapy, etc. We recommend waiting 4 weeks between PRP and any other cosmetic treatments, lasers or injectables.

What other PRP treatment are available at SKIN Clinics?
What is PRP facial treatment?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) facial treatment is a cosmetic procedure that uses your own blood to rejuvenate the skin. The treatment involves drawing a small amount of blood, separating the platelets from it, and then injecting or applying the concentrated platelet-rich plasma onto the face to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture and tone.

Are the results of PRP facial treatment permanent?

The results of PRP facial treatment are not permanent, but they can be long-lasting. The treatment stimulates collagen production and skin rejuvenation, which can lead to improvements in skin texture and tone that can last for several months (18 months). To maintain the results, periodic touch-up treatments are usually recommended.
