Frequently Asked Questions
Microneedling can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, and other areas of the body where there are skin concerns.
While microneedling is suitable for most skin types, we take extra precautions with clients who have autoimmune diseases or are prone to keloid scarring, and we cannot perform this procedure on pregnant or breastfeeding patients.
A numbing cream is applied before treatment making the procedure tolerable for most people. Throughout the session, patients may notice a slight vibration sensation, with sensitivity levels differing across the treated areas.
Microneedling is generally safe, but as with any procedure, there are risks. Infection, scarring, and other complications may occur if the procedure is not performed by a qualified provider or if proper aftercare instructions are not followed.
