Are you looking to improve the quality of your skin and overall confidence? The Photofractional treatment is a powerful solution that targets a range of skin concerns such as age and sun spots, fine lines, acne scars, and uneven skin texture, offering complete skin rejuvenation.

Get The Facts

This unique laser treatment combines two modalities – IPL (intense pulsed light) and ResurFX non-ablative skin resurfacing so that both skin tone and texture can be improved at once. By combining both IPL and ResurFX technologies, we can work on each layer of the skin to improve multiple aspects of skin concerns. IPL removes and reduces unwanted pigmentation and “shuts down” blood vessels, while ResurFX stimulates the production of new collagen and elastic fibers. The new production of collagen is key to a softer and smoother skin texture.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Are the results of the Photofractional treatment permanent?

Results typically can last for several years if the client takes good care of the skin with proper skincare, with all-year-round sun protection with a broad-spectrum SPF. Yearly treatments will prolong and maintain the result.

+ What are the benefits of a Photofractional treatment?

The Photofractional treatment is a 2-in-1 (IPL and ResurFX) solution that improves most aspects of skin aging all at once to save clients time without sacrificing end results.

+ What should I expect during a Photofractional treatment?

Depending on the area treated, the Photofractional treatment can take up to 1-2 hours, which includes the time it takes for topical numbing to be applied. IPL treatment is done first, then topical numbing, followed by the ResurFX treatment. Most clients describe IPL to feel like an elastic band snapping on their skin and ResurFX as a tingling hot sensation. Immediately after the Photofractional, your skin will feel tight and warm like a mild sunburn.

+ Can Photofractional treatment be performed on all skin types?

Photofractional treatment is generally safe and effective for most skin types. However, the suitability of the treatment may vary depending on individual skin characteristics. It is best to consult with a qualified practitioner who can assess your skin and determine if Photofractional treatment is suitable for you.

+ What is Photofractional treatment?

Photofractional treatment is a combination therapy that combines intense pulsed light (IPL) and fractional laser technology. It is used to improve the appearance of various skin concerns, such as sun damage, age spots, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone and texture.

+ Is there any downtime associated with Photofractional treatment?

There is typically some downtime associated with Photofractional treatment. After the session, you may experience redness, swelling, and a mild sunburn-like sensation, which usually resolves within a few days. Additionally, your skin may peel or flake as part of the natural healing process.
