Dermaplaning Facial

Looking to give your dull or dry skin a radiant glow in one quick treatment? Dermaplaning is a safe and effective physical exfoliation procedure to slough away dead skin, debris, and vellus hair (peach fuzz). Dermaplaning allows for deeper product penetration and smoother makeup application while leaving your skin looking polished and glowing!

Get The Facts

Excess vellus hair and/or dead skin cells can lead to blocked follicles and a build-up of dirt, oils, and debris. Removing the excess surface debris on the skin will aid in unblocking the follicles, giving the skin an overall healthy, radiant appearance. Dermaplaning also allows for smoother make-up application and deeper product penetration. A sterile scalpel is used with feather-like strokes across the epidermis to remove the debris that leads to product build-up and clogged pores. This is a great treatment option for patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or with sensitive skin who are opting for more gentle exfoliation, as it does not require the use of any active ingredients.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Will my hair grow back thicker, course, or darker after the Dermaplaning Facial?

No, your hair will grow back how it usually would naturally.

+ Will there be an increase in hair when it grows back?

No, dermaplaning does not increase the number of hair follicles. However, some clients notice the presence of hair once it’s grown back after not having it there.

+ Is there downtime to the Dermaplaning Facial?

No. Many clients love to add Dermaplaning to other facials or have it done a day or two before a special occasion (depending on skin sensitivity).

+ Is the Dermaplaning Facial pregnancy/breastfeeding safe?

Absolutely! The products applied post-treatment will be customized for your safety.

+ Can I wear makeup after dermaplaning?

It’s generally advisable to avoid wearing makeup immediately after a dermaplaning treatment to allow the skin to breathe and heal. You can ask our SKIN experts or dermatologist.

+ How often should I get dermaplaning done?

For most people, it is recommended to undergo dermaplaning treatments every 4 to 6 weeks. This timeframe allows for the skin to fully recover before the next session.
