Uncover Brighter, Healthier Skin with a Gentle Glow Peel Experience

As an introductory peel, it’s ideal for those who are new to medical-grade peelsor clinical facials and want to experience a safe first step toward healthier skin. Supporting natural exfoliation and cell renewal helps improve tone, refine uneven texture, and restore radiance to dull or tired-looking skin. At SKIN Clinics, we proudly serve clients in Calgary and the surrounding areas, helping our community achieve confidence through healthier, glowing skin.

The Science Behind Your Glow Peel

This gentle chemical peel is formulated with a precise blend of 12% glycolic acid and 2% phytic acid, supported by niacinamide and sage extract. Glycolic acid dissolves the bonds between dead skin cells, encouraging natural exfoliation and stimulating collagen production to reduce fine lines and early signs of aging. Phytic acid acts as an antioxidant and brightening agent, helping to protect against free-radical damage while reducing pigmentation and discolouration. Niacinamide reinforces the skin barrier, improves hydration, and calms inflammation, while sage extract provides purifying and soothing benefits. Together, these active ingredients work in synergy to promote dermal rejuvenation, accelerate cellular turnover, and enhance overall complexion clarity. As healthier layers emerge, the skin appears smoother, more luminous, and refreshed. With consistent treatments, clients often notice long-term improvements in tone, texture, and resilience, supporting radiant, youthful skin vitality.

This treatment delivers multi-layered rejuvenation by restoring hydration, leaving the skin plumper, dewy, and more supple. It gently lightens hyperpigmentation and fades uneven spots, revealing a brighter, more luminous complexion. Clearing congestion and minimizing acne-causing bacteria improves clarity, balances oil production, and helps prevent recurring breakouts. The controlled exfoliation process stimulates cellular turnover and collagen renewal, refining uneven texture for a smoother, silkier feel. At the same time, its calming properties reduce inflammation, ease redness, and reinforce the skin’s protective barrier, building long-term resilience. With each session, your complexion appears more refreshed, balanced, and radiantly healthy, with results that continue to evolve over time.

This treatment is carefully designed to rejuvenate tired or dull-looking skin, restoring a brighter and more refreshed appearance. It supports acne management by reducing bacteria, minimizing inflammation, and helping to clear congested pores for improved clarity. Gentle exfoliation and stimulation of natural cell renewal also enhance uneven texture, leaving the skin noticeably softer, smoother, and more radiant. Over time, these improvements contribute to healthier, more resilient skin that continues to glow well beyond the initial treatment.

How many treatments are usually needed?

+ To achieve optimal results, most clients benefit from a series of 3–6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. This allows for consistent exfoliation and cell renewal, which gradually improves tone, texture, and overall skin health.

Who isn’t a good candidate?

+ This treatment isn’t recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have active cold sores, warts, wounds, sunburn, excessive sensitivity, or dermatitis in the treatment area. It’s also unsuitable if you’ve taken oral isotretinoin within the past year, as the skin needs time to recover before undergoing resurfacing treatments.

What will the procedure feel like?

+ The experience is often described as a spa-like treatment with a warm, tingling “spicy” sensation during application. Depending on your skin goals, additional layers may be applied to intensify exfoliation. A soothing masque follows to calm, hydrate, and strengthen the skin barrier, leaving your complexion refreshed and comfortable.

Should I continue with regular treatments?

+ Yes. Regular treatments help improve skin strength, resilience, and long-term radiance by supporting ongoing collagen stimulation and cellular turnover. Over time, you may progress to higher-strength peels for deeper rejuvenation and more advanced concerns.

Can this be combined with other treatments?

+ Yes. It can often be paired with maybe say harmonious? Complimentary makes it seem like it is free procedures such as facials, laser treatments or injectables. The timing is important, and our experts will create a treatment plan that maximizes results while protecting your skin’s health.

Is this safe for all skin types?

+ The treatment is generally safe for most skin types and tones. However, individuals with severe eczema, dermatitis, or active infections may not be suitable candidates. A consultation allows our clinicians to assess your complexion and customize the approach to meet your unique needs.

How soon will I see results?

+ Most clients notice improvements within one to two weeks. Skin looks smoother, brighter, and more even-toned as exfoliation and cell renewal reveal fresh, healthy skin . Results often continue to build with each treatment.

Is there any peeling or flaking after treatment?

+ Some clients experience mild peeling or flaking as dead skin cells shed, while others simply notice a fresher, more radiant glow without visible peeling. Both responses are normal signs of cellular renewal and skin rejuvenation.

Can this treatment help with fine lines and early signs of aging?

+ Yes. By stimulating gentle exfoliation and boosting collagen production, the treatment can soften the appearance of fine lines, improve elasticity, and enhance overall skin resilience.

How does this differ from a stronger chemical peel?

+ This introductory peel is formulated to be gentle and well-tolerated, making it ideal for those new to professional-grade skincare. Stronger peels penetrate more deeply to address advanced pigmentation, texture irregularities, or deeper wrinkles. During your consultation, our experts can advise when it may be appropriate to transition to higher-strength peels for greater rejuvenation.

Where can I book a Glow Peel treatment?

+ You can book a Glow Peel treatment at SKIN Clinics, where our expert team provides dermatologist-led care in a welcoming, luxury setting. Each treatment is customized to address concerns like dullness, uneven texture, or acne, helping you achieve healthier, more radiant skin.
