What to Avoid
To ensure the treatment is as safe and effective as possible, please avoid the following:

Alcohol for 24 hours before your visit
Caffeine on the day of treatment
Aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Aleve®, as well as supplements like Fish Oil, Gingko Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and high-dose Vitamin E, unless medically necessary
Vaccines and dental procedures within 2 weeks of your appointment

For your safety, we do not perform this treatment during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Downtime

Mild to moderate swelling, bruising, and tenderness in the treated area are entirely normal.
You may apply cool packs as needed to help calm the area.
Swelling can become more noticeable over the first couple of days and often feels more prominent before it begins to settle. This is expected and indicates the treatment is actively working.
Temporary numbness or firmness to the touch can occur and will resolve gradually.
If you notice any unusual skin changes, such as the development of a sore or lesion, please contact your healthcare provider promptly for support.
