A Gentle Way to Restore Structure and Revitalize Your Natural Contours

Sculptra is a biostimulatory injectable designed to replenish volume gradually by encouraging your skin’s natural collagen production. Rather than providing an instant filling effect, this treatment works beneath the surface to strengthen the dermal structure over time, creating smoother contours and improved firmness that evolve beautifully in the months following your visit. Made with poly L lactic acid, it offers a refined, long-lasting approach to softening signs of volume loss and supporting a more youthful, resilient appearance.

Understanding How This Collagen-Supporting Treatment Works

Polylactic acid is the collagen-stimulating ingredient in this treatment, which is why it can naturally restore the skin’s foundation. As your skin begins producing new collagen through neocollagenesis, the deeper layers gradually regain structure and support, which softens the appearance of lines and areas affected by volume loss. Most clients benefit from a series of treatment sessions spaced over several months, particularly when addressing more significant changes in facial volume. This thoughtful, progressive approach allows your results to develop gently and blend seamlessly with your natural features.

How is this treatment different from traditional filler?

+ This treatment is composed of poly-L-lactic acid, a collagen-supporting ingredient, whereas traditional fillers are typically made from hyaluronic acid. Because it stimulates your own collagen production, it offers a longer-lasting and more gradual improvement.

How does it work?

+ Polylactic acid encourages the controlled activation of fibroblast cells within the deeper layers of the skin. As these cells produce new collagen, the dermal structure becomes more supported, resulting in a smoother and firmer appearance over time.

How long does it take to see results?

+ You may notice a subtle change right away due to mild swelling, but the true transformation develops gradually as collagen rebuilds. Most clients begin to see visible improvement within several weeks, with continued enhancement over the following months.

How long do the effects last?

+ Restored volume and improved skin quality typically last eighteen to twenty-four months, and collagen strengthening can continue even longer with a personalized treatment plan.

Is this treatment reversible?

+ Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, poly-L-lactic acid cannot be dissolved. This is why choosing an experienced injector who understands your facial anatomy and goals is essential for safe, natural-looking results.

Which areas benefit most from this treatment?

+ This collagen-stimulating approach is well-suited to areas experiencing volume loss or early signs of laxity. It is commonly used to support the lower face, including nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and chin wrinkles, as well as regions where subtle structural enhancement is desired.
