Understanding Your PRP Facial Experience

PRP facial treatments are paired with microneedling or Beauty Booster to deliver the natural growth factors into the skin. PRP can also be injected into the tear troughs, nasolabial folds, neck, decolletage, and even acne scarring for targeted results. A series of 3 treatments is usually recommended for optimal results.

Will this treatment add volume to my face?

+ No. PRP does not act as a filler. While you may notice temporary fullness immediately after treatment, this subsides as the plasma is absorbed. The true benefit comes from stimulating collagen and elastin, gradually improving skin density and firmness for a smoother, rejuvenated appearance.

Are there any side effects of PRP facial treatment?

+ Because PRP uses your own plasma, the risk of complications or allergic reactions is minimal. You may experience mild redness, dryness, or slight bruising that fades within a few days as the skin begins its natural healing process.

Can PRP be combined with other skin rejuvenation treatments?

+ Absolutely. PRP pairs beautifully with treatments like microneedling, laser resurfacing, and neuromodulators to amplify collagen regeneration and enhance overall results. We typically recommend spacing PRP sessions about four weeks apart from other procedures for the best outcomes.

What skin concerns does PRP facial treatment address?

+ This treatment helps improve a variety of conditions, including fine lines, uneven tone, dullness, acne scars, pigmentation, and early signs of ageing. It’s ideal for clients seeking natural skin rejuvenation without synthetic substances.

How soon will I notice visible results?

+ Most clients begin to see a refreshed glow within 4 to 6 weeks as new collagen forms beneath the surface. Continued improvements in texture, tone, and elasticity occur progressively over the following months.

How does PRP facial treatment work?

+ A small sample of your blood is processed to isolate platelet-rich plasma, a concentration of your body’s natural growth factors. This plasma is then applied or injected into the skin, stimulating cell renewal and collagen production for long-term rejuvenation.

Is PRP suitable for all skin types?

+ Yes. PRP is safe for most skin tones and types, including sensitive skin. Because it uses your own biological material, the risk of reaction is extremely low, making it a trusted option for comprehensive skin renewal.

How long do the results of PRP face treatment last?

+ Results typically last up to 18 months, depending on your skin’s natural regenerative response and lifestyle factors. Maintenance sessions once a year can help preserve your glow and firmness over time.

What is the difference between PRP and microneedling?

+ Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen, while PRP enhances this effect by delivering powerful growth factors directly into the skin. When combined, these two treatments maximize rejuvenation for visibly smoother and healthier skin.
