- Alcohol and smoking for at least 24 hours prior.
- Caffeine on the day of your appointment.
- Aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Aleve®, Fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, or high doses of Vitamin E, unless medically necessary.
- Oral isotretinoin (Accutane) should be discontinued for a minimum of six months before treatment.
- Please note that treatments cannot be performed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
