Ultherapy

Ultherapy is a Health Canada-licensed cosmetic procedure using ultrasound technology to non-surgically lift and tighten the skin on the neck, under the chin, and on the brow, and also improve lines and wrinkles on the décolletage! Ultherapy offers natural-looking results that gradually improve over time.

Get The Facts

Ultherapy is the only non-invasive treatment cleared by the FDA for lifting the skin on the neck, chin, and brow and improving lines and wrinkles on the décolletage. Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound to lift and tighten loose skin over time without any downtime. Through focused imaging, an Ultherapy provider directs thermal heat below the skin’s surface, which stimulates the formation of new collagen production in the deeper levels of tissue. Common areas treated include the neck, chin, brow, and upper chest. Ultherapy is a slow and steady procedure as small increments of precise energy are sent down to specific depths in each section of the face.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ How long do Ultherapy results last?

Results can last up to a year or more, and future touch-up treatments will vary by individual as their natural aging process takes over.

+ Can Ultherapy treat “turkey neck”?

As the only non-invasive procedure FDA-cleared to lift skin on the neck, Ultherapy is designed to treat “turkey neck,” one of the common signs of aging skin. Ultherapy can help you achieve a fresher look without surgery or downtime.

+ How does Ultherapy differ from laser treatments?

Ultherapy uses sound energy—tried-and-true ultrasound—which has unique properties that allow it to bypass the surface of the skin to treat depths not matched by any other non-invasive cosmetic device. Ultherapy ultrasound stimulates collagen production in the skin’s foundation, resulting in a clinically significant lift of tissue over two to three months. Some lasers rely on light energy, which cannot reach deeper skin layers. Typically, laser treatments also only treat superficial skin and are not FDA-cleared to lift skin.

+ Where can I get Ultherapy?
+ Is there any downtime after an Ultherapy treatment?

Most individuals can resume their normal activities immediately after an Ultherapy session. Some people may experience mild redness, swelling, or tingling sensations, but these usually resolve quickly.

+ What areas can be treated with Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is commonly used to treat the brow, chin, neck, and chest areas. It is particularly effective in targeting sagging skin on the lower face and neck.
