- Wear a medical-grade SPF 50 on the treatment area daily for at least 4 to 6 weeks before your appointment
- Eat a light snack beforehand60 minutes
- Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
- Let us know if you have a history of melasma or pigmentation concerns
- Tell us about any cold-sore history
- Avoid fresh sun exposure, tanning and fake tan30 days prior
Recovering
- Mild redness or swelling is normal
- Your skin may feel slightly textured
- Protect from sun & wear SPF 50 daily24 hours
- Pigmented spots may darken and naturally flake away
- Apply cool compresses as needed to soothe the skin
- No makeup on the treated area
