- Apply a medical-grade SPF 50 daily to the treatment area for at least 4–6 weeks prior to your appointment
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing on the day of your visit
- Shower before your appointment
Recovering
- Expect approximately 7 days of true downtime; your skin will need this period to rest and fully heal
- Bleeding or oozing may occur in the first 24 hours
- Redness or swelling is normal24 hours
- Dryness and sloughing of the skin is normal
- Begin vinegar soaks starting the day after treatment
- Protect from sun & wear SPF 50 daily1 week
- Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor after cleansing
- Repeat vinegar soaks up to 12 times daily if needed
