Benign Lesion Removal — treatment
Body — in clinic

Do you have a pesky spot on your body that you’ve always wanted to eliminate? We can reduce and remove benign lesions such as moles, skin tags, cherry angiomas, and more at SKIN Clinics.

Benign Lesion Removal is a non-invasive laser therapy that uses specific wavelengths to reduce the size, appearance, and depth of lesions by repairing and regenerating skin cells. We require lesions to be cleared by a physician before your consultation. Once your lesion has been diagnosed as benign, we can remove the spot using the laser.

Treatment FAQ

About Benign Lesion Removal.

Before any lesion is removed, every growth needs to be assessed by a physician to determine if it is benign and appropriate for removal. During your consultation your provider will visually examine the lesion, discuss its history — including any recent changes in size, colour, or texture — and determine the safest and most effective removal method for your individual concern. If at any point your provider has any uncertainty about the nature of a lesion, they will refer you for further medical assessment before proceeding with removal, your safety and peace of mind are always our highest priority.

The cosmetic outcome following lesion removal depends on the type, size, and location of the lesion, as well as your individual skin type and healing response. Most clients experience only minimal scarring following professional removal particularly when the area is cared for correctly during the healing period. Immediately following treatment the area may appear red, raised, or crusted as the skin begins its natural healing process. With diligent aftercare, including consistent SPF application, keeping the area clean and moisturised, and avoiding picking or sun exposure, the vast majority of clients achieve a clean, clear, and cosmetically pleasing result that is a significant improvement on the original lesion.
