12 Years of SKIN: Look How We’ve Grown
Twelve years after opening its first clinic in Brandon, SKIN Clinics is celebrating its growth across Western Canada, from new locations and beautiful clinic spaces to education, medical leadership, and the client experience that continues to shape the brand.

Twelve years ago, SKIN Clinics began with one location in Brandon, Manitoba, and a clear vision: to create a professional, welcoming space where clients could feel supported in their skin health and aesthetic journey.
What started as one clinic has grown into a multi-location brand serving clients across Western Canada. Along the way, SKIN has continued to evolve by expanding into new communities, building beautiful clinic spaces, investing in education, strengthening medical leadership, and creating a client experience centered on confidence, care, and personalized guidance.
As we celebrate 12 years of SKIN, we are looking back at the milestones that helped shape the brand and the people, places, and values that continue to move it forward.
2014: SKIN Brandon Opens
This was the first SKIN Clinics location and the beginning of our brand’s journey.
Brandon holds a special place in SKIN’s history because Dr. Jason Sneath worked with the City of Brandon to help bring dermatology services to the community at a time when local access to dermatology was limited. That early connection to the community made Brandon a meaningful place to begin what would later grow into the SKIN Clinics brand. The broader leadership behind the brand has also been recognized through The Sneath Group, which has received several awards for its commitment to community and innovative business practices. Both Dr. Robyn Sneath and Dr. Jason Sneath have been nominated for Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, and Dr. Jason Sneath is a board-certified dermatologist and international speaker.
Located in a restored heritage building in Brandon’s historic downtown, SKIN Brandon helped establish the elevated clinic experience that would become part of the brand’s identity. From the beginning, Brandon was more than the first location. It became the foundation for SKIN’s approach to professional skincare, aesthetic treatments, personalized recommendations, and client care. It was also one of the first to bring SkinCeuticals to the Prairies and has remained a flagship part of the brand’s skincare story
2018: SKIN Regina Opens
In 2018, SKIN expanded into Saskatchewan with the opening of SKIN Regina.
The Regina clinic brought the SKIN experience into a distinctive converted mansion on the corner of College and Broad. With three floors transformed into a clinic space, SKIN Regina became another example of the brand’s commitment to creating beautiful, elevated environments where clients can feel comfortable and supported.
The Regina location also strengthened SKIN’s connection to professional skincare. SKIN Clinic Regina is the SkinCeuticals flagship location for Regina. This reflects how skincare education and trusted product guidance have remained an important part of the SKIN experience. This expansion was not only about opening another clinic. It was about bringing SKIN’s approach to a new community while continuing to build a recognizable standard of care.
2019: SKIN Steinbach Opens
In 2019, SKIN continued to grow with the opening of SKIN Steinbach.
The clinic first opened on Stonebridge Crescent before later moving to its Main Street location. Today, SKIN Steinbach is located in the centre of town, with a clinic space designed to feel bright, accessible, and welcoming for clients in the community.
SKIN Steinbach offers both medical and cosmetic dermatology, including injectables, laser treatments, medical facials, microneedling, and skincare retail. This helped bring a wider range of SKIN services and product support to clients in another Manitoba community.
As SKIN expanded, each new location carried its own local character while remaining connected to the larger SKIN Clinics experience.
2021: The Hills Spa by SKIN Clinics Opens
In 2021, The Hills Spa by SKIN Clinics opened, adding a new layer to the SKIN experience.
This milestone expanded the brand beyond the traditional clinic setting and introduced a more wellness-focused environment connected to SKIN’s approach to care, beauty, relaxation, and confidence.
The Hills Spa became part of the Brandon destination, creating a space where clients could experience spa services, wellness treatments, and aesthetic care within the same broader SKIN environment. The Brandon location page describes the space as offering wellness treatments including a cedar sauna, marble headspa, and relaxation room.
This was an important step in SKIN’s growth because it showed how the brand could continue evolving through experience, not only through expansion.
2022: SKIN Calgary Opens
In 2022, SKIN Calgary opened, bringing the SKIN Clinics experience to Alberta.
Located in Marda Loop, SKIN Calgary expanded the brand into a major new city while continuing the same focus on medical expertise, aesthetic care, personalized treatment planning, and a serene clinic environment.
The Calgary location reflects SKIN’s continued commitment to combining advanced technology, modern techniques, and thoughtful client care. It also marked another important step in the brand’s growth across Western Canada.
The Calgary location also introduced an important surgical component to the SKIN story. It is home to Mount Royal Surgical and includes a surgery section with two operating rooms, expanding the range of care and services connected to the clinic.
As SKIN entered Calgary, the brand continued to build on the foundation created in Brandon, Regina, and Steinbach, bringing new clients, new providers, and new opportunities into the SKIN story.
2023: SKIN Winnipeg Opens
In 2023, SKIN Winnipeg opened, continuing the brand’s growth across Manitoba.
Located in Winnipeg’s South Osborne neighbourhood, the clinic is housed in a converted bank and was designed by Frank Architecture + Interiors. This gave SKIN Winnipeg a distinct identity: elegant, design-forward, and accessible from different areas of the city.
The Winnipeg location brought SKIN’s medical and cosmetic dermatology services, laser treatments, facials, injectables, and personalized treatment guidance to another major Manitoba city.
That year also brought added visibility and creative opportunities for the brand, including Dr. Sneath’s involvement in a Dove commercial. Moments like this helped show how SKIN’s story was growing beyond clinic walls and becoming part of broader conversations around skin, confidence, and care.
2024: A Year of Celebration and Client Convenience
In 2024, SKIN celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a company-wide retreat.
This was a meaningful moment for the team to pause, reflect, and celebrate how far the brand had come. Ten years earlier, SKIN had started with one location in Brandon. By 2024, it had grown into a multi-location brand with clinics, a spa experience, and a larger team working across different communities.
That year also included a SkinCeuticals Instagram collaboration , where Dr. Sneath was featured talking about medical grade skincare on their account, creating another opportunity to connect with clients and share the brand’s personality online.
One of the most important client experience updates in 2024 was the addition of online booking. This made it easier for clients to connect with their preferred SKIN location, explore appointment availability, and plan their visits more conveniently.
The milestone reflected something important about SKIN’s growth, as the brand expanded, it also continued to improve the way clients interact with the clinics. Growth was not only about adding more locations. It was also about making the experience smoother, more accessible, and more connected.
2025: The SKIN School Opens
In 2025, partnering with Chelsea Webster RN, The SKIN School opened, creating a new chapter focused on education, training, and professional development.
This was one of the biggest milestones beyond clinic expansion. It showed SKIN’s commitment not only to treating clients, but also to supporting the future of aesthetic care through education.
The SKIN School created a space for learning, skill development, and professional growth for Nurses and Doctors wanting to enter the aesthetic community. It reflected the brand’s belief that strong client care starts with knowledge, training, and continued education.
For SKIN, this milestone represented a natural next step. After years of growing clinics and serving clients, the brand expanded its impact by helping train and support professionals in the industry.
2026: Celebrating 12 Years of SKIN
Now in 2026, SKIN Clinics is celebrating 12 years of growth, change, and client care.
This year marks another exciting chapter for the brand, with refreshed branding, a new website, continued collaborations, and new medical directors supporting different clinic locations.
Dr. Webster now supports SKIN Regina, Dr. Isaac supports SKIN Winnipeg and SKIN Steinbach, and Dr. Sneath supports SKIN Brandon and SKIN Calgary as Medical Directors.
SKIN also experienced meaningful team milestones, including its first retirement. This is a reminder that the story of SKIN is not only about new clinics, new services, and new technology. It is also about the people who have helped build the brand over time.
Thank You for 12 Years of SKIN

What began in Brandon has grown into something much larger, but the heart of SKIN remains the same: helping clients feel supported, informed, and confident in their skin.
This anniversary is a chance to look back with gratitude and look ahead with excitement.
