Filler

As we age, the features that define us begin to change and our faces naturally begin to lose their youthful volume. Filler treatment puts you in control of your appearance by restoring and enhancing your favourite features. We believe that you should always look as young as you feel.

Get The Facts

Filler is used to restore volume to areas of the face, hands, and neck that are lost with time. Filler can add structure/support back into the face, create the appearance of smoother skin, enhance the facial shape, and even address mild scarring. Our Filler options consist of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar in the body responsible for hydration. Some of the most commonly treated areas include the cheeks, chin, lips, temples, nasolabial folds, lines around the mouth (smoker’s lines), or lines at the corners of the mouth (marionette lines). Follow-up treatments are recommended to maintain optimal results.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Is Filler painful?

Everyone responds to pain differently, but most clients describe the treatment to be very tolerable. Our Filler options are formulated with lidocaine, a numbing agent to help decrease any pain. We also use a topical anesthetic cream to numb the areas before injecting.

+ How long does the Filler last?

Filler treatment lasts for approximately 9-24 months, depending on the type of product.

+ Is Filler permanent?

No. Because we are injecting hyaluronic acid (HA), our body will naturally degrade the Filler over a certain period. Additionally, HA filler can be dissolved by injecting a medication into the treated areas called Hyaluronidase.

+ Will Filler make me look “fake”?

Our goal with filler treatment is to enhance your unique beauty, not completely alter it. With the appropriate selection of filler product, correct injection depth and technique, and extensive anatomy knowledge of the provider, Filler will offer a natural, refreshed look to the appearance. Our providers will work together with you to discuss realistic expectations while also meeting your aesthetic goals.

+ Is Filler treatment safe?
Filler treatment is generally considered safe when performed by a qualified and experienced provider. However, like any medical procedure, there are risks and potential side effects, such as bruising, swelling, redness, infection, and allergic reactions.
+ What should I do to prepare for filler treatment?

Before undergoing filler treatment, you should avoid taking blood-thinning medications or supplements, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil, as these can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding. You should also inform your provider of any medical conditions or allergies you have.
